What I’m Working On
What I’m Working On
Sea of Dreams, a fictional story, came to me out of the blue, and likely to keep myself sane in public transit. I still have a long way to the finish line, yet I’m optimistic it will be published and that the readers will find it refreshing.
This tale includes tragedy, love, loss and hope with a twist of afterlife. The characters deal with daily struggles of a small fishing community, of life & death itself and what comes after.
Along with my novel, I have written poems, lyrics and profiles. I plan on entering contests with anticipation of being triumphant now and then. Should you know of any legitimate contests, grants and/or scholarships eligible to a Canadian from New Brunswick like myself, please give me a shout.
I have completed a 10-session “creative writing” class. Through the course, I gained a wealth of knowledge concerning the writing field, particularly my strengths & weaknesses.
At some point, I hope to find a mentor who will help me to better my skills and to teach me the finer ways of getting my work out there and more importantly, read.
